Rubinesque (aka Rubi)
1995 17 hand Oldenburg stallion, approved ISR/Oldenburg NA and Trakehner

Rubinesque is a modern type sporthorse stallion who has proven himself a successful FEI competitor in both Florida and California. He possesses excellent conformation, wonderful gaits, a steady temperament and unparalleled beauty. This talented stallion brings correct gaits with good reach and elasticity. He shows a trot that is cadenced, buoyant and rhythmical along with a canter that is extremely uphill with excellent jump and throughness. "Rubi" also has a talent for the Piaffe and Passage. He is an eager learner and loves his job! Rubi has proven himself through the levels garnering many wins and awards. In 2006, he achieved scores as high as 69.8% at Prix St George and is now schooling all the Grand Prix movements. Also shows much talent for jumping and had a successful jumping career at Level 5 and 6!
Along with his excellent performance record, Rubinesque has also garnered the Perfomance Award *Pb* from the American Trakehner Association. This distinction is awarded to approved/registered ATA stallions which show or produce outstanding performance in competition. Rubi was also approved by both the ISR/Oldenburg NA and ATA after completing his 100 day stallion test.
Rubinesque's sire is the Class 1 Trakehner stallion, Rubin (previously shown by Jo Hinneman). This sire line traces back to some of the most influential lines for the Trakehner and is one of the most prepotent ever. Coming from a line that is known for its rideability and temperament, as well as the ability to pass on these traits, can only help to insure that Rubi is a great choice for today's breeders. His dam line represents some of the best Thoroughbred blood that has been used in sporthorse breeding.
Rubi has produced successful offspring in Breed, Dressage, and H/J arenas, and has sired approved stallions. His first foals are typey, correctly conformed and possess his willing, gentle temperament.
